CAMBODIA (Volunteer)

per person

This will be an opportunity to volunteer for 1 or 2 weeks making a library for a local school in Cambodia.

This is NOT voluntourism!

Voluntourism creates dependency, harms local economies, and exploits good intentions for profit, voluntourism is not a sustainable or effective way to promote development and alleviate poverty.

Full details will follow.

This is not a group trip in that you do not pay us to join the group. You will be responsible for booking and paying for all aspects of this volunteer opportunity. However, we will give a list of resources.

Applications will be accepted and interviews will occur if an application is accepted. We are looking for young adults aged 15 (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult) to 65.

We will have space for 10 volunteers for each week for a total of 3 weeks. You can join for 1 or all 3.

We will ask that you help us to fundraise to a small degree.

We will also be asking for donations as well as the donation of your skill set if you are unable to travel to Cambodia, but you want to help us in our efforts.

More to come.

Please email jessica@worldtowning.com if you want to be on the early notification list once applications open.
